Fabric Buildings Protect Against Fire DamageFabric Buildings Protect Against Fire Damage

There are many benefits to fabric structures – including performance against fire damage. Limiting fire damage in storage buildings is a major advantage. Any areas of the building exposed to a fire can be re-covered at minimum since our steel frame construction is non-combustible. The fabric membrane will melt when exposed to fire and will ensure any fire does not spread.

Check out one of our customer’s structures – only a few vehicles and a few fabric roof panels were destroyed in a vehicle fire. We even found manufacturer labels on the steel in perfect condition! In a wood or steel structure, the entire structure and much of the remaining equipment would likely have been a total loss. Our crew is out there completing a new cover on this building and we can’t wait to share the end results.

This is a Calhoun Super Structure and was build to withstand the extreme weather conditions in upstate New York. These versatile structures provide built-in protection against fire, wind, hail, and heavy snow.
